JAMIE'S SHOCK AT BAFTA NOMINATION

Jamie Dornan has told of his suprise and delight after picking up a Bafta nomination for playing a serial killer in The Fall.

The Co Down actor faces stiff competition in this year's Best Actor category - Dominic West, Sean Harris and Luke Newberry.

The 31-year-old former model said: "I am shocked and truly humbled to be nominated for a Bafta. I have huge respect for all of my fellow nominees, and feel honoured to be mentioned alongside those names."

BBC crime drama The Fall, which is currently shooting its second series in Belfast, is also in the running for Best Mini-Series.

"Richly deserved for (creator) Allan Cubitt," said Dornan,who is soon to hit the big screen in Fifty Shades of Grey.He has just won two gongs at this year's Irish Film and Television Awards in Dublin - Best Actor and Rising Star.
