Instead of one episode per week, Netflix members choose to binge watch their way through a series – that is, on average, finishing an entire season in one week. Though binge watching is clearly the new normal, not all series are enjoyed the same way. Today Netflix unveils The Binge Scale, revealing which shows we devour and which we savor.

Jamie is on Female First's "Breakthrough Actors of 2015" List

Jamie Dornan has had an acting career that has spanned almost a decade, but it was 2015 that was to be his major breakthrough year. Like James, Dornan was best known for his role as Paul Spector in TV series The Fall but he took on the role of Christian Grey for the first time, as Fifty Shades of Grey was adapted for the big screen.

Fifty Shades of Grey was one of the most talked about and anticipated films of early 2015 and it was to be the biggest film role of Dornan's career to date. Not only did his help establish him as a film actor, but it also turned him into something of a sex symbol. Fifty Shades of Grey made stars of Dornan and leading lady Dakota Johnson, who took on the role of Anastasia Steele.

The movie is based on the novel by E.L. James and was adapted for the big screen by Kelly Marcel - who wrote the script for the fantastic Saving Mr Banks. The movie marked the return of Sam Taylor-Johnson to the director's chair for her first feature since she made her debut with Nowhere Boy.

Fifty Shades of Grey may not have been a critical hit, but fans of the book flocked to see the film and it grossed over $570 million at the worldwide box office. Dornan is set to reprise the role of Grey in the next two films in the series.

As well as starring in Fifty Shades of Grey this year, Dornan returned to the role of Paul Spector as the second series of The Fall came to the small screen. He also starred in The 9th Life of Louis Drax. And we are going to be seeing plenty of him on the big screen next year as he has already finished work on Jadotville and Anthropoid.

Jamie swapped Holywood, Co Down, for the brights light of Hollywood, USA, as he snapped up the lead role in the highly anticipated Fifty Shades Of Grey film adaptation. The actor has secured his place as one of the most memorable names from 2014 and 2015 with his appointment as Christian Grey in the film of the hit book franchise by E.L James.

The film comes out on February 14 and is expected to be a box office hit.

Meanwhile, Jamie has been busy keeping people glued to the small screen with his killer performance in The Fall.

The hit crime drama starring Dornan as the serial murderer Paul Spector was the topic of conversation on many people's lips this year as the eagerly awaited finale took place.

Dornan also took part in the 2014 Alfred Dunhill Links Championship which is held over three links courses - St Andrews, Kingsbarns and Carnoustie.

The actor was rubbing shoulders with fellow celebrities as they were paired up with professionals in the team competition.

The Holywood man was pictured with Bill Murray as he took to the golf course, where he proved his skills were better kept to in front of the camera - he was left in 50 shades of sand.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' Trailer Is The Most-Viewed Trailer of 2014

THR - In the end, the race is not always won by the swift but by those who keep on running.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming attraction had the hottest start of the year, notching 58.2 million views in its first five days, but ultimately it was Fifty Shades of Grey’s four-month head start that proved decisive in the race to be the most-viewed trailer of 2014.

The Fifty Shades trailer recorded 93 million YouTube views since its release on July 24 to become the most-watched preview of the year, according to Zefr, a YouTube data and marketing company. Based on E.L. James' best-selling erotic romance trilogy — which has sold more than 100 million copies — the movie version stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson and opens on Feb. 13.
