Adam, an American doctor, Edward, an Irish journalist, and Michael, an English academic, have little to unite them beyond being human in the same small space. Yet somehow, together, they determine to ward off madness and forestall despair. 

Somewhere lurk their unseen captors yet, in the cell, there are stories of adventure and love, there is song and laughter, and even a surge of writing, cocktail-drinking and movie-making. 

Based on the experiences of those taken hostage in Lebanon in the 1980s, Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me is playwright Frank McGuinness’s hymn to the defiant power of the human spirit and the creative imagination. First staged at Hampstead Theatre in 1992, it transferred to the West End before going on to win the 1993 New York Drama Critics’ Circle Award for Best Foreign Play. 

Director Michael Attenborough makes his Chichester debut. Whilst Artistic Director of the Almeida Theatre between 2002 and 2013, his award-winning productions included Measure for Measure and David Eldridge’s The Knot of the Heart. From 1996 to 2002 he was Principal Associate Director of the Royal Shakespeare Company. 

David Haig returns to Chichester to play Michael, following his appearance in Festival 2014’s highly acclaimed Pressure, which he also wrote.

Rumor: BBC Is Planning Two More Seasons For 'The Fall'

In addition to Hannibal, [Gillian] Anderson is also the series lead, and one of the executive producers, on the BBC Two drama The Fall, which returns for its second season on BBC Two in the UK and Netflix in the US next month. The show, which also stars Jamie Dornan, is, sources say, being eyed for a two season pickup through 2016 by BBC executives, in a deal similar to the one they struck for Line of Duty.

Patrick Munn, the founder and Editor in Chief of TVWise, reported this news on his Twitter back in July before.

Rumor: Jamie Joins The Cast of 'Adam Jones'

Daily Mail - Sienna Miller will play a sous chef in the new Bradley Cooper film Adam Jones.

Cooper plays the title character: a genius cook who returns to London after a period away from the kitchen, detoxifying.

Now he wants a third Michelin star, and assembles an A-list  line-up to help him.

Many of the actors spent a day with Marcus Wareing at his two Michelin-starred Marcus  restaurant at the Berkeley in Knightsbridge, to prepare for their roles.

Adam Jones, which has a script by Steven Knight, will start filming soon, in and around London.

Director John Wells and his casting team, with help no doubt from producer Harvey Weinstein, have gathered a cast that includes Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl, Riccardo Scamarcio (Italy’s answer to Brad Pitt), Lily James, Jamie Dornan and Alicia Vikander.

Cooper told me about Adam Jones (then titled Chef) two years ago. In the meantime, Jon Favreau made his own foodie movie, also called Chef, which has developed a cult following.

The 32-year-old actress is to take on the role of an assistant chef in the upcoming film, alongside Bradley Cooper, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.

Cooper will play the title character, a genius cook who returns to London to revive his career and attempt to win a third Michelin star after a period of detoxifying away from the kitchen.

Steven Knight wrote the script for the film - which was originally titled 'Chef' - and filming is to begin in London under the direction of John Wells in the next few weeks.

The majority of the cast - which also includes Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl and Jamie Dornan - spent a day with top chef Marcus Wareing at his two Michelin-starred Marcus restaurant at the Berkeley hotel in Knightsbridge, London in preparation for their upcoming roles.
