‘The 9th Life of Louis Drax’ Soundtrack Album Cover + Tracklist


Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for Alexandre Aja’s supernatural thriller The 9th Life of Louis Drax. The album features the film’s original music composed by Canadian singer/songwriter Patrick Watson (It’s Not Me, I Swear!). The soundtrack will be released on September 2, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The 9th Life of Louis Drax stars Jamie Dornan, Sarah Gadon, Aaron Paul, Aiden Longworth, Oliver Platt, Molly Parker and Barbara Hershey. The movie revolves around an acclaimed neurologist who uses unorthodox techniques to try to tap into a young boy’s unconscious mind and reveal the truth about his near-fatal fall and his life of near-death accidents. The thriller will be released on September 2 in select theaters by Summit Premiere.

'Anthropoid' Soundtrack Album Cover + Tracklist


Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the dramatic thriller Anthropoid. The album features the film’s original music composed by Robin Foster (Metro Manila). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 12, 2016. Anthropoid is directed by Sean Ellis and stars Cillian Murphy, Jamie Dornan, Toby Jones, Charlotte Le Bon, Anna Geislerová, Harry Lloyd, Alena Mihulová, Marcin Dorociński, Bill Milner and Sam Keeley. The movie follows two soldiers from the Czech army-in-exile who are parachuted into their occupied homeland in December of 1941 and must find a way to assassinate SS General Reinhard Heydrich., with limited intelligence and little equipment in a city under lockdown. The drama will be released this coming Friday, August 12 by Bleecker Street. Visit the official movie website for more information.

Danny Elfman to Score 'Fifty Shades Darker'


Danny Elfman has signed on to compose the music for the upcoming sequel Fifty Shades Darker. The film is directed by James Foley (Glengarry Glenn Ross, Confidence, Perfect Strangers) and stars Dakota Johnson, Jamie Dornan, Eric Johnson, Bella Heathcote, Arielle Kebbel and Kim Basinger. The movie continues the story from last year’s Fifty Shades of Grey, which Elfman also scored, and follows Christian as he wrestles with his inner demons, and Anastasia who must confront the anger and envy of the women who came before her. Niall Leonard has written the screenplay based on E.L. James’ bestselling novel. Michael De Luca & Dana Brunetti (The Social Network, Captain Phillips, 21) are also producing the project with James. Fifty Shades Darker is set to be released on February 10, 2017 by Universal Pictures.

Joseph Trapanese to Score ‘Jadotville’


Joseph Trapanese has signed on to score the upcoming war thriller Jadotville. The film is directed by Richie Smyth and stars Jamie Dornan, Guillaume Canet, Jason O’Mara and Mark Strong. The movie tells the true story of Irish Commandant Pat Quinlan who led a stand off with troops against French and Belgian Mercenaries in the Congo during in the early 1960s. Kevin Brodbin (Constantine, Mindhunters) has written the screenplay based on a novel by Declan Power. Alan Moloney (The Escapist, Albert Nobbs, Byzantium) is producing the project for Parallel Films. Jadotville is set to premiere later this year on Netflix.

Guy Farley to Score 'Anthropoid'

Later this year, Guy Farley will reunite with director Sean Ellis (Cashback, The Broken, Metro Manila) to score his upcoming WW2 thriller ANTHROPOID about the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich. The movie just began shooting last week in Prague's Barrandov studios as well as several historical locations all over Prague, where the actual events took place in 1941. The movie will feature international cast including Cillian Murphy, Jamie Dornan, Toby Jones as well as several Czech actors.

'Fifty Shades of Grey' Score Album Tracklist + Pre-Order Link
