Digital Spy - Jamie Dornan has discussed the challenge of finding common ground with his Fifty Shades of Grey character.
Dornan plays mysterious billionaire Christian Grey, whose sadistic sexual proclivities emerge to complicate his relationship with virginal college student Ana (Dakota Johnson).
"You have to find something that you can cling to," Dornan told Digital Spy. "Not necessarily something you like about them, or something that you like about yourself, or are happy to admit about yourself."

Asked specifically what he found in common with Grey, Dornan continued: "He lost his mother, I lost my mother, very different circumstances, [we were] different ages but both young, so there was something within that that I could grab onto."
