Ulster Gazette - A campaign by an Armagh woman to raise awareness about Pancreatic Cancer
has been backed by one of the most talked about actors in the world.
Northern
Irish man Jamie Dornan, fresh from starring in the movie Fifty Shades
of Grey, took a picture of him wearing the purple wristband of the
Fight On For Annie campaign.
Armagh woman Grainne O'Neill started the campaign after losing her mother, Annie to the disease.
“Jamie lost his mother to Pancreatic Cancer too, so it is a cause close to his heart," said Grainne.
“I
managed to get in touch through friends and I am so delighted he took
time out of his busy schedule for the picture - we have been
stunned by the response as it has gone all over the world."
To buy a
wristband like the one Jamie Dornan is wearing on the Gazette's front
