Director John Wells and his casting team, with help no doubt from producer Harvey Weinstein, have gathered a cast that includes Emma Thompson, Daniel Bruhl, Riccardo Scamarcio (Italy’s answer to Brad Pitt), Lily James, Jamie Dornan and Alicia Vikander.
Cooper told me about Adam Jones (then titled Chef) two years ago. In the meantime, Jon Favreau made his own foodie movie, also called Chef, which has developed a cult following.

The 32-year-old actress is to take on the role of an assistant chef in the upcoming film, alongside Bradley Cooper, the Daily Mail newspaper reports.
Cooper will play the title character, a genius cook who returns to London to revive his career and attempt to win a third Michelin star after a period of detoxifying away from the kitchen.
Steven Knight wrote the script for the film - which was originally titled 'Chef' - and filming is to begin in London under the direction of John Wells in the next few weeks.

The Wrap - On the same day that Beyonce dropped a teaser for “Fifty Shades of Grey” on Instagram, the film's hunky star Jamie Dornan has secured his first job since landing the coveted role of Christian Grey, as he'll join Bradley Cooper in a new Weinstein Company movie.
John Wells is directing from a screenplay by Steven Knight. Michael Shamberg and Stacey Sher are producing with Erwin Stoff.
Dornan's casting was first revealed by the Daily Mail, which reports that the film's title has changed from “Chef” to “Adam Jones,” likely due to confusion with Jon Favreau's indie hit “Chef.”

Previously titled, “Chef,” the comedy centers on a chef who loses his highly-rated restaurant in France and tries to mount a comeback in London by re-assembling his team. The newbies join Bradley Cooper, Omar Sy, Sam Keeley, and Sienna Miller. Casting details are being kept quiet for now, but this will be Dornan’s next feature after he wraps “Fifty Shades of Grey.”

Dornan doesn’t have too many credits to his name yet – he had a small role in “Marie Antoinette” and appeared in a few episodes of “Once Upon a Time” – but if you don’t know his name now, you soon will. Dornan beat out loads of other Hollywood hunks, nabbing the starring role of Christan Grey in Focus Features’ “Fifty Shades of Grey.”
