Bella Heathcote to Play in 'Fifty Shades' Sequels
Deadline - Bella Heathcote has been set to join the cast of Fifty Shades Darker, the second installment of the trilogy based on E L James’ worldwide bestselling Fifty Shades Of Grey book series. Heathcote, who starred in Dark Shadows, opens today in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. James Foley is directing both Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed with Niall Leonard adapting the screenplay for the next two films. Heathcote joins Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, who return as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele. Kim Basinger was recently set as well. Heathcote will play Leila, a former lover of Christian, who bears the scars to prove it.
Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti return alongside James to produce, and Marcus Viscidi is also a producer. Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled for release on February 10, 2017, after the first film grossed $560 million worldwide.
