He’s played a sexy killer in The Fall and a killer sex-er in Fifty Shades Of Grey, so it’s no wonder Jamie Dornan came top in heat’s Hottest Hunks 2015.
The 32-year-old Irish lad from Belfast topped our poll to find the sexiest celebrity man IN THE WORLD – and with THAT torso, THOSE eyes and – ahem – that way with a cable tie, we’re not surprised you lot found him as face-meltingly handsome as we did.
THR - Good news arrived Thursday for Fifty Shades of Grey fans.
Universal announced Thursday that the sequel to the box office
blockbuster will hit theaters on Feb. 10, 2017. The third film in the
series will debut Feb. 9, 2018.
The news came one day after The Hollywood Reporter reported exclusively that the husband of EL James, author of the Fifty Shades trilogy, will write the script for the second film. Niall Leonard, who is married and has two sons with the British author, is an author himself, in addition to being a screenwriter.
James, whose real name is Erika Leonard, has been credited with
keeping a strong amount of creative control when it comes to Universal's
adaptations of her books, the second of which is titled Fifty Shades Darker. After clashing with James, Sam Taylor-Johnson isn't returning to direct the sequel.
Stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan
are negotiating for more money for the sequel after the first film,
release over Valentine's Day weekend of this year, earned a massive
$568.8 million worldwide.
THR - Mr. Fifty Shades is getting in on the action.
EL James, the author of the Fifty Shades of Grey trilogy, has enlisted her husband to write the script for the sequel, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter.
Niall Leonard, who is married and has two sons with the British author, is an author himself, in addition to being a screenwriter. He’s written for the British TV shows Air Force One Is Down and Wire in the Blood, among others. He’s also the author of the Crusher book series. He also worked on the script for the first Fifty Shades but was not credited.
"Niall is an outstanding writer in his own right, with multiple established credits, and we are lucky to have him join Team Fifty," says producer Michael De Luca in a statement to THR.
James, whose real name is Erika Leonard, has been credited with keeping a strong amount of creative control when it comes to Universal's adaptations of her books. On the first film, she clashed with director Sam Taylor-Johnson about many aspects of the film, including the ending. Neither Taylor-Johnson nor screenwriter Kelly Marcel are returning for the sequel.
Due to the exit of Taylor-Johnson and Marcel, and the fact that stars Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, are negotiating for more money for the sequel, there hasn't been much news on the follow-up. The first film earned a massive $568.8 million worldwide.
There have been rumors circling that James wanted to write the screenplay herself. But having her husband work on it may be a happy compromise since he has screenwriting experience that James lacks.
Vogue - Our walk takes us down to Highgate village, past the building where she lived when she first moved to the city at the age of eighteen. She remembers that time with great fondness, pointing up at what was once her window. Before we cut across Waterlow Park, we pick up some lunch from a deli and walk in the cold, carrying paper cups of lentil soup.
In truth, she always thought she’d settle here, but she and Mumford live in West London because it’s easier to get from there to the farmhouse they own in Devon. They have a dog, a cocker spaniel called Rambo. (“Rimbaud as in the poet?” I ask because we have been talking about the poetry she likes to read before going onstage. “No,” Mulligan replies with a smile, “Rambo as in Sylvester Stallone.”)
“I like waking up in the morning and putting on whatever’s by the side of my bed, and putting on Wellington boots and walking up a steep hill. And not wearing any makeup,” she says. “When you’re working, everything’s so busy and so aesthetic. When all of that angst isn’t on you, you’re just kind of a better person—more focused on other people rather than worrying about yourself.” Her old friend the actor and former model Jamie Dornan says that “the country is a good representation of who Carey is. You can just enjoy life the way it’s meant to be, with people who love you.”
