Make Up For Ever Creates Cosmetics Line Inspired By 50 Shades of Grey
First it was the book, followed by the movie and now it’s time for makeup. Beauty Brand Make Up For Ever has just announced that it will be launching a cosmetics line inspired by bestselling novels Fifty Shades of Grey.
The collection will include, Tease Me Lip Trios — a smudge-proof lip liner, a highly pigmented and long-wearing lip gloss and a lip gloss — and will be available in Innocent and Passionate, each $32. A blush trio titled Desire Me, will retail for $49 and is packaged inside a velvet pouch with a soft rope tie and a key. The final component of the collection is called Give In To Me, which is the largest set of the line. It will include an eyeshadow quad, eyeliner, lipstick and lip gloss. Those items will come in a keepsake box with a hidden compartment and will sell for $79. And with each set purchased you will find notes on how to apply the products from the head of the movie’s makeup department, Victoria Downs.
The limited-edition “Fifty Shades” collection will be exclusive to Sephora and sephora.com on Dec. 26th. And the anticipated movie adaptation of the book starring Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele debuts Feb. 13, just in time for Valentine’s Day.

'Flying Home' DVD/Blu-Ray Will Be Released as 'Racing Hearts' in US + Release Date

From Blu-Ray.Com
Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the Blu-ray release of director Dominique Deruddere's Racing Hearts (originally titled Flying Home), which stars Jamie Dornan, Charlotte De Bruyne and Ali Suliman. The romantic drama arrives on Blu-ray on January 13, 2015.
Flying Home tells the story of Colin (Dornan), an ambitious young American corporate raider, and Isabelle (De Bruyne), a young Flemish student (Charlotte De Bruyne). One of Colin's potential clients, a rich Arab sheikh (Ali Suliman), is a passionate pigeon fancier who has been trying to buy a champion pigeon "Wittekop" from Flanders, but the owner, Jos Pawels, has been stubbornly refusing his offers. In an attempt to gain the sheikh's business, Colin proposes a deal: if he can convince Jos Pauwels to sell the pigeon, then the sheikh will sign with his company.
Colin sets off for Flanders, to the small village of Bunderzele, pretending to be teacher looking for the grave of his great-grandfather who died in World War I. Colin meets Isabelle, Jos Pauwels' lovely granddaughter, and uses her to accomplish his assignment. But Wittekop, the Flemish villagers and wonderful Isabelle confront him with the biggest question: what is really important in life?
The Blu-ray release of Racing Hearts is presented in 1080p with DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 surround. The USHE press materials suggest no special features are included.

You can pre-order 'Racing Hearts' Blu-Ray on Blu-Ray.Com or on Amazon

Eddie Redmayne Mentions Jamie

Variety - Redmayne recalls visiting Hollywood in his early 20s for auditions with other unknowns like Andrew Garfield, Tom Sturridge and Jamie Dornan. “You’d come over for a month,” Redmayne says. “We used to go to the Standard Hotel in West Hollywood, and split a sandwich between us because that meant we could get cheaper parking. We’d swim and play table tennis for hours.” It was, in many ways, a surreal existence trying to break into the business. “We were staying on friend’s agents’ floors, and renting places together,” Redmayne says. “I’d be driving the cheapest rental car. But then you’d get to turn up at the CAA party. All these huge limos would arrive. I’d be in this red blob.”

Redmayne says there was a comfort in his expat community, because even if he didn’t land roles, he’d be happy when one of his friends did. “When we started going out for the same parts, it never got in the way of our friendships,” says Cox, his co-star in “Theory,” who screen tested for “My Week With Marilyn.” Redmayne tells a story about how at the press junket for “Les Miserables,” a journalist asked him if he’d ever audition to play Christian Grey in “Fifty Shades of Grey.” After he said yes, the book’s author, E.L. James, dissed his candidacy. “She took to her Twitter feed to go, ‘Under no circumstances!’ ” Redmayne recalls. “I was like, all right, all right! Am I that bad? I can put a whip in my hand. I can get all kinky, can’t I?” He scrunches his face in a way that suggests more of an academic than an S&M expert. “Apparently not,” he concedes.

JAMIE DORNAN

DOMINANT FORCE, 32

"Every role is physical to a certain extent," said Dornan, whose ready-to-spring intensity him as a model before it flipped into something far more unsettling onscreen (witness his seductive serial killer Paul Spector in the BBC's The Fall). The Belfast "skinny kid," who wrapped himself around Kate Moss and greased up to Eva Mendez for Calvin Klein, insists, "I don't like my physique. Who does?" Well, everybody. Those not grumbling about Charlie Hunnam ditching the role are hotly anticipating Dornan's Christian Grey in next year's S&M confection Fifty Shades of Grey. The father of one (a daughter, 11 moths, with singer wife Amelia Warner) says a doctor told him, "I have abnormal levels of adrenaline in my system." And that explains the attraction: it's chemical.

'The Fall' Season 2 DVD/Blu-Ray Release Date + Pre-Order Links

'The Fall' Season 2 DVD and Blu-Ray will be released on December 26, 2014.

The Fall

Series Two

BBC Two's critically acclaimed crime thriller The Fall returns for series 2. (Gillian Anderson) returns as DSI Stella Gibson as she tries to catch serial killer Paul Spector (Jamie Dornan).

You can already pre-order both DVD and Blu-Ray on Acorn DVD:

Jamie is on Vulture's "9 Actors Who Could Be Big Movie Stars Next Year" List

Vulture - This year's edition of the 100 Most Valuable Stars in Hollywood had some notable debuts — including Shailene Woodley at No. 24, Kevin Hart at No. 40, Chris Pratt at No. 68, and Lupita Nyong'o at No. 82 — but who's the likeliest to leap on the list in 2015? We talked to studio executives and sifted through next year's release calendar to find nine major talents (some already better-known than others) whose cinematic choices could soon make them household names, and let's just say the British are definitely coming. Get in on the ground floor!

Jamie Dornan

Since Fifty Shades of Grey began as an erotic spin on Twilight, does that mean its leading man Jamie Dornan is poised for a Robert Pattinson–style breakout? The 32-year-old Irishman spent most of his career as a male model, but he's impressed in TV shows like The Fall and landed the lead in Fifty Shades (out Valentine's Day) after a very protracted casting search. It should make him a star ... or, at the very least, next year's biggest sex symbol.

New Poster for 'The Fall' Season 2

BBC Two: "It's not procedural. It's personal. Series 2 of #TheFall begins Thursday 13 November, 9pm."

Valene Kane Talks About 'The Fall' and Jamie

Then came The Fall. With her long dark hair, pale skin, slim build and pretty face, Valene, as Rose Stagg in the drama series, is exactly killer Phil Spector's type - and the opposite of his tall, curvy blonde wife, played by Bronagh Waugh. She first appeared briefly in series one when the icy investigator played by Gillian Anderson calls her in for questioning. Her role has subsequently developed into something meatier for series two.

"I'm the first person Spector tried to strangle and he has a special connection with me," she explains. "It's a harrowing role - the material is quite dark and there are some juicy developments, but I really can't say what they are. I saw the first episode in a private screening in London the other day - it's super nerve-wracking and exciting."

So did she swoon at former supermodel Dornan's feet when she first met him?

"No - he's super ugly in real life," she dead-pans. "No, really, he's stunning, incredible looking. And he's a nice family man, not big-headed at all. I've met his wife Amelia and the baby, she's a beauty. I was more nervous meeting Gillian but she's really warm and giving; she's the most amazing actress."
